You mean college had a goal?

I am a bit nervous today, it is an important day. The Fall Career Fair, which last for two days, but the second is specifically for technical companies. Pretty much as soon as I finish this post I will head up to Barton Hall and talk to recruiters. My dream job would be to work for a cycling company, and my slightly less specific goal would be to work for an outdoor sports company. I have actually based my research and class selection around this goal for a while. While Cornell has no bike design course, I am taking courses on frame design, and composites. Cornell is great at offering a variety of courses so you can tailor your major to your needs.

Some of the other companies I will probably talk to include Lockheed Martin, Boeing, Rathyon, ExxonMobile, Shell... If banks are you thing Cornell always has various banking and investment firms show up at Career fairs. Cornell has had several workshops over the last few days to teach you how to best use the career fair. I have had my resume all checked out by several people, all of whom (including myself) managed to miss a spelling mistake.

Cornell is great at preparing student for industry. Many of the companies that come to Cornell, come because the employees they currently have from Cornell are some of their finest and they want more. Hopefully someone will want me.

Have a good one,
Sean
